MGI Sports News:
Sports facilities on campus include two basketball/netball courts, one tennis court, 2 playing fields large enough to accommodate soccer and rugby as well as a squash court and beach volleyball court. Students compete in the following sports:
MGI’s men’s basketball team has once again come out on top in the Gauteng Basketball League against bigger teams like Wits, VUT and Grace Bible Church.

Sports days against other tertiary institutions as well as interfaculty sports days’ takes place on an annual basis, and impromptu volleyball games at every other available opportunity.
